Some reflections on human freedom as an expression of personal freedom.
The expression of the idea of freedom involves several ways of representation in the human universe. As a human right, freedom is perceived today as freedom of expression, religious freedom, freedom of thought, but it also involves other interpretations, which reveals the way in which the current world balances, on one side, freedom and, on the other, its universality, weighing them without articulating them with traditional values. The universal character of freedom, inserted in the individual geography of the human person, has become the new unit of evaluation of human principles and values. Freedom of this type, while acting as a form of censorship of the previously installed authority, has become the expression of the current world in the name of which everything that comes into being exists because it has the right to be free. Within the horizon of this approach, in this study we propose to review the ideas that underlie, in our opinion, this new vision of freedom.
